On the meeting of bureau the speaker of the Parliament Davit Usupashvili responded to the case of Jury Vazagashvili and marked that with his death Georgia lost the symbol of Georgian father and etalon, reports GHN.
With the statement of Usupashvili Georgian mothers and fathers don't have to be victims of the fight for their killed children and for the fight to punish guilty persons.
"I want together with you and with your name one more time to express deep sadness for the death of Mr. Jury Vazagashvili. You will agree that with the dearth of Ms. Irina Enukidze we lost the symbol of Georgian mother and etalon, with the dearth of Mr. Jury we lost the symbol and etalon of Georgian father. I want to wish together with you and to give promise to everyone that Georgian mothers and fathers will not become victims of the fight for their killed children and fight for the punishment of guilty persons. Georgian state will do it. We have to do it, this is our duty and I am sure that it will happen. This is also fact that the aim of this horrific murder was not only Mr. Jury. Mr. Jury already could say everything what needed to be heard from him. Apparently there are different aims here and that's why I want to call on everyone: our right reaction on this horror will be that if someone thinks that someone will be silent about this case - he shouldn't be silent, the saying should be said and the second, if the aim of this case is to examine Georgian state, the government if we are able to defend our citizens, to investigate crime, is there was made mistake, if we can handle this mistake, actually look into eyes and to make active steps - we have to do it exactly, this will be our right reaction, except of common grief that we all join," stated Usupashvili.
