Latvia, which is the chairman country of the European Union plans to convene the European Council in the issues of Foreign Relations because of the attack on Mariupol, reports GHN.
In the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia there is said that Riga condemns actions against civilians by the pro-Russian separatists.
As the Foreign Ministry states that attack on Mariupol proves that Russia is not interested to solve the conflict with peaceful ways.
Moscow has not made comment on the statement of the chairman of European Union yet. As it is known on Saturday the city Mariupol was bombed with the launchers. As a result of the bombing there were killed 30 civilians and more than 100 seriously injured.
