"Our task is to represent concrete results on Riga "Eastern Partnership" summit and as reliable partner of European Union to show the example of success, - this statement was made by the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili on the joint press conference with Lithuanian counterpart Algirdas Butkevicius, reports GHN.
The Premier welcomes the fact that the number of Lithuanian tourists and trade turnover increased between two countries.
"Except political and economic relations collaboration between our countries in defense and security, in agriculture, education, culture and other spheres is exemplary. At the same time Georgia is in the list of priority countries in the frame of "collaboration in the sphere of development", - stated Irakli Garibashvili.
On the meeting the sides paid special attention to the situation on the occupied territories of Georgia and challenges of the region.
"Taking into account the reality in the region for us today as never before is decisive support of European Union and of international community," marked Irakli Garibashvili.
