The Minister of Internal Affairs will be Vakhtang Gomelauri. The Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili represented new Minister in the administration of the government, reports GHN.
We remind that on January 23, the Minister of Internal Affairs Aleksandre Chikaidze left the position and made the statement:
"I want to apply the Prime Minister of Georgia and to ask for resignation. This decision was determined by the accusations that took place last time that seems I cover the persons who are involved in the murder of Jury Vazagashvili. In spite of the fact that the accusation has nothing in common with reality I feel moral responsibility and leave the position.
In case if it would take place immediate investigation of the murder of Jury Vazagashvili, I wouldn't take this decision. I was not in Georgia when this tragedy happened. Because of the fact that investigation still continues I consider that I have to withdraw from the process for the society not to have questions towards the government. I express hope that in the near future the investigation will be ended and everything will be named with its names."

The Premier Irakli Garibashvili satisfied the demand of already former Minister of Internal Affairs Aleksandre Chikaidze today and signed the order about his dismissal.
