"Vakhtang Gomelauri till otday was the first deputy of the Minister of Internal Affairs. Mr. Vakhtang is professional and famous with his decency, unselfishness and with his loyalty towards his work and country," - stated the Prime Minister while presenting new Minister.
According to his statement to be the Minister of Internal Affairs is serious responsibility and this is one of the toughest spheres.
"This Ministry is not new for him; Mr. Vakhtang was deputy of the Minister during two years and before this was working in this system. I want to wish to him success and I am sure that he will do everything to justify our and people's expectation," stated the Premier.
Vakhtang Gomelauri will be the Minister of Internal Affairs. The Premier Irakli Garibashvili represented to the journalists new Minister in the administration of the government.

Gomelauri was born on December 24, 1975 in Tbilisi.
