From January 28 till February 4 there is planned the first working visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Tamar Beruchashvili in the United States of America. In the frame of the visit there is planned meeting with Vice President of US Joe Biden in the frame of the meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Eastern Europe, reports GHN.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs will also meet representatives of executive and legislative governments of US, also representatives of leading research centers and media of America. With the information of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs the Minister will deliver the speech on the conference of Atlantic council with the name "Transatlantic strategy for Eastern Europe." Also will participate in the discussion in the Center of Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) that is one of the most old and influential institute of America in the issues of international politics.
The main theme of visit and meeting will be security space of Georgia, challenges that faces our country, the issues of deepening of directions of strategic partnership of Georgia and US, Riga summit, the process of democratization of Georgia.
