Debates will be held on the issue of Georgia-Russia conflict at the session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly today. The debates will be held around the special resolution, which was drafted by the OSCE special representative to Georgia, Assembly`s honourable president Goran Len marker, who will present the document to the assembly members.
Georgian MPs say that Russia who has serious influence and authority in OSCE, will do its best to obstruct to the adoption of the resolution on Georgia`s occupation, IDPs repatriation and the problems of humanitarian activities in Abkhazia and Tskhinvali Region. However, they hope that other members of the assembly will support the resolution.
Georgian lawmakers will also introduce the state strategy for occupied territories to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.
