Russian side makes explanation concerning violation of air space of Britain. With the statement of the ambassador of Russia Aleksandr Iakovenko, flight of Russian fighter planes on La Manche didn't impede the working of civil aviation, reports GHN.
As he insists Russian planes performed routine air patrolling and international norms were not violated. Ty-95 type fighter planes flew on La Manche late night, that's why flight dispatchers were forced to change route of passenger planes. In several minutes after incident several British fighter planes flew from Lossiemouth and Coningsby airfields. They made Russian planes to leave air space of Britain.
