The press speaker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs responds to the statement of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Tamar Beruchashvili and explains that the journalist made wrong interpretation of the saying of the Minister, reports GHN.
"An interview that was published in radio "Freedom" maybe there is different interpretation of what Ms. Tamar could say. Let's begin from the fact that the dialogue didn't take place since autumn and accordingly if there is nothing is going on there are no talking about. It doesn't mean that that obligations, or agreements and trade relations that were agreed before should be developed and that there is progress. That means that imperatively it is impossible to halt it as a result of one saying. This is not our competency and the Minister of Foreign Affairs couldn't say it that negotiations are stopped. We don't know yet when dialogue will be restored, but that pragmatic relations that are between companies are continued," stated Kereselidze.
