With the statement of the head of the administration of occupied Gali region he wants the region to be strong economically to feed itself independently not to be depended on the central budget of Abkhazia, reports GHN.
"We want to attract investments and to build nut processing plants and meat factories. We will try except foreign investments to put in local capital too.
It is true that we will need to gain raw material from outside of the region for meat factory because we will not be able to find enough meat here, but before we will build micro farms we can receive the meat from private sector.
After this we will support the population to build farms," stated Temur Nadaraia.
As he said developing of farm economy in Gali region, also developing of cattle breeding and receiving of perennial crops will increase social-economical level of the population significantly.
Nadaraia also marks that Gali region is less integrated and "for some reason" is separated from rest of Abkhazia that should be improved.
"The most of the population of western regions of the country have not been in Gali and also Galelians are not visiting Sukhumi... I can't blame on these people who were going to Georgia because of poverty and were choosing Georgian citizenship to receive aid for refugees.
That's why we can't make identification of the politics and ordinary humans. Most of them want to live here in peace, to raise here their children, to work and to have wages.
Our aim is to create the space the population of this region them to want to live not in Georgia but Abkhazia," stated the head of Gali administration.
