Russia slams the US State Department for the report about the support to democracy in the world and says the report is incompatible with the `reset policy with Russia`.

Russian Foreign Ministry released a corresponding statement on its official website.

`This statement makes an impression that the reset policy with Russia did not refer to the personnel of the US State Department, which worked on this report. The document describes the state of democracy in Russia traditionally by using the term `erosion`,` the statement says.

Russian diplomats believe that the authors of the report followed the principle - `those who are not with the United States, have no democracy in the country`, in addition, the content of the report confirms the disadvantage of this principle. Moscow is prepared for dialogue with Washington regarding the violation of human rights in Russia but not for lectures of moral.

Russian Foreign Ministry says they will deal with the problems independently, without the interference and teachings from Washington.
