The Prime Minister of Georgia who pays official visit to Hungary today met the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban. The leader of the government of Hungary met Georgian counterpart with the march and honor guard, reports GHN.
On the official ceremony there were performed state anthems of Georgia and Hungary. On face to face meeting the sides discussed the main issues of relations of two countries. The special attention was paid to the importance of deepening of economic and trade relations. They talked about the themes of integration of Georgia in European Union and joining NATO. There was marked the progress in this direction.
Irakli Garibashvili underlined that Georgia is firmly standing on the way of Euro integration and continues movement towards NATO that is choice of Georgian people. He also thanked the Prime Minister of Hungary for involvement of Hungarian side in the process of implementation of "essential package" received on NATO Wales Summit.
The sides talked about situation on occupied territories of Georgia. Viktor Orban one more time confirmed the full support of Hungary towards sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia.
The Prime Minister of Georgia visits Hungary together with the delegation of the government. In the frame of the visit Irakli Garibashvili will meet the representatives of the government of Hungary and the speaker of the Parliament.
