United States` ambassador to Georgia, John Bass has responded to the comments of the Russian Foreign Ministry, which were published one after another in response to the statements voiced by the US Secretary of State during her last visit to Tbilisi.
John Bass said the position of the US administration was quite clear and the Georgia was still the issue of difference between US and the Russian Federation.
`What I would say is that secretary Clinton`s statements stand for itself, she has chosen to characterize the circumstances here in Georgia as she has, and its quite clear as you see from this exchanges that we continue to have this position strong,` John Bass said and added that Georgia is still the issue of difference between Russia and the United States, however, this moment should not obstruct to the dialogue which was underway between the two states.
Russian Foreign Ministry released several statements yesterday, disapproving the term `occupation` by Hillary Clinton, trying to assert that not a single Russian soldier stayed on the territory of Georgia.
