Parliamentarian minority rejects the choice concerning the candidacy of the chairman of the Supreme Court of the President Giorgi Margvelashvili. Accordingly as the member of the party Sergo Ratiani stated in Parliament "National Movement" will not support the candidacy of Nino Gvenetadze, because she doesn't satisfy none of the criteria to take on this position.
"The President Giorgi Margvelashvili couldn't satisfy his own criteria with the representation of Nino Gvenetadze. First of all it was agreed that she shouldn't have the political affiliation and that she is affiliated with "Republican Party." She once participated in the elections. Besides the second important criteria was the reputation. The public opinion is already determined that she is the staff of the period of Shevardnadze when taking bribe in the court was ordinary event. The third criteria was competency. In this point of view she has nothing special to show to us. So National Movement will not support its candidacy," stated Ratiani while talking with GHN.
