The Former Minister of Foreign Affairs Salime Zurabishvili met to the chairman of the Parliament and talked about the problems of Georgians concerning their citizenship, reports GHN.
As Salome Zurabishvili stated to the journalists after the meeting the according to the active legislation Georgians who will receive the citizenship of other country will automatically lose Georgian citizenship that is the problems for many Georgians.
"Today who receives citizenship of other country loses and will be deprived the citizenship of Georgia that is not beneficial for this country," stated Zurabishvili.
On the meeting there was decided that in March there will be created the special group that will work concerning this problem. But the concrete proposals will be in May.
