The officers of Borjomi and Akhaltsikhe police division of Samtskhe-Javakheti as a result of investigative activities held on the basis of operative information exposed Emzar Kh. (DoB 1964) and Gervasi K. (DoB 1977) for illegal cutting of tree and bush plants, reports GHN based on the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Detainees were exposed by police when they were loading truck with the timber. Emzar Kh. was exposed by policemen in Kvibisi village while Gervasi K. in Ani village. Police seized the timber and established that damage inflicted to the nature amounted to 1875 GEL.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of Illegal Cutting of Bushes and Plants, article 303, I part of the Criminal Code.
