First of all the Prime Minister will visit Smatskhe-javakheti Region and speak about the production potential of the Region.
During the today's meeting, the Prime Minister urged the governors and the mayors to correct the shortcomings identified in the districts as soon as possible. He had delivered the main messages of the Government.
"We are and we have to be the person/citizen oriented government. We must do our best to provide the maximum support to our citizens and ease their lives. I have urged the regional and district governors to be even more effective and communicate more with people in order to have better understanding of people's problems", - said the Prime Minister.
According to the information of Government Leader, certain gaps have been identified since the enforcement of the Law on local Governance. Relevant agencies have been instructed to draft some legislative changes so that the procedures are simplified and the governors are able to ease the decision-making process, without the excessive bureaucracy. As the Prime Minister said, the meetings with regional representatives will be held on a regular basis, once in every 2-3 months.
Irakli Garibashvili has also commented on calling the extraordinary session of the Parliament. The Government Leader believes that making all the government branches people-oriented and fulfilling more tasks for the country is the most important. "For me, the most important is to do more, to care about the people and country without any show or masquerade. We are always open and communicate with all departments, never refuse to provide any information.
