The statement of the Russian Foreign Ministry on possible deployment of nuclear weapons in Crimea confirms the absolute unpredictability of Russia, reports GHN based on Ukrinform.
Spokesman for the Ukraine's Foreign Ministry Yevhen Perebyinis has said this at a briefing on Wednesday.
"This is another fact, which confirms the absolute unpredictability of Russia," he said, commenting on the statement of the Russian Foreign Ministry that Russia has the right to deploy nuclear weapons in Crimea.
"Making such a statement, Russia violates every possible international standard. Besides that deployment of nuclear weapons violates international agreements on control over nuclear weapons, Russia plans, according to its statement, to deploy nuclear weapons on the territory of another state, since Crimea is the territory of Ukraine," Perebyinis said.
