The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil releases information about establishment of simplified visa regime between Brazil and Georgia, reports GHN
It informs that Georgia and Brazil based on mutual agreement established preferential visa regime for the citizens of both countries. Citizens of Georgia who are going with the touristic and business aim in Brazil will be able to stay in Brazil in 180 day period during 90 days without visa. The analogues regime is working for the citizens of Brazil in Georgia. From Brazilian side the agreement was signed on April 10, 2015. Brazil has the same visa regime with 81 countries of the world.
With the information of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Georgia and Brazil during last years deepened bilateral relations. In both countries there was opened embassies, trade increased with 228% during last 10 years. Brazil strongly supports Georgia and its positions on all international arena, among them on the UN council.
In Brazil the ambassador of Otar Berdzenishvili officially handed the document signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia to Brazilian side, to the deputy of the Minister Carlo Alberto Simas Magalhaes. On the meeting also there was discussed the priorities of bilateral relations. There was also marked that this agreement is one more step forward in successful collaboration and has big importance as in point of view of interstate also inter people's relations.
