TV Company Iberia has returned to the Georgian TV space after 11 years since its last air. The broadcast was opened with the Caramel Show. The presenters of the television defined that it would be an entertainment show broadcast on Iberia from Monday to Friday and that the priority of the television's operation would be the public opinion.
The first guest of the Caramel was journalist Maka Razmadze, who will be a presenter of the daily political-analytical talk show "Priority" at 20:00.
She said the founders of the TV Company were determined not to interfere in the editorial policy and that their views were absolutely non-revengous; correspondingly the journalists would be enjoying full editorial freedom and a possibility to cover daily news without bias.
Iberia TV will broadcast with the following programs: Business Code, AutoMan, De Facto, Cineman, Benefit, Equalizer, Recipe, Winnie Park.
The founder of the Omega Group and the TV Iberia, Zaza Okuashvili made his first statement after 1 years of silence in the air of Iberia TV's news program Priority. He talked about the forceful seizure of the television 11 years ago, as well as about his future plans.
"What can I say after 11 years? We believed that we would broadcast again, believed because the truth was on our side. We knew that we would return and be on air again; we would again stand for our people, for truth, for progress and take part in the important rebuilding of our country," - Zaza Okuashvili said.
