Kherson Regional State Administration CEO Oleksandr Hontar and representatives of the Georgian delegation discussed perspectives of cooperation between Guriya region (Georgia) and Kherson region in Kherson.
As the Regional State Administration's press service informed, during the meeting, in particular, possibility was discussed for setting up a joint-stock enterprise on the territory of New Kakhovka in Kherson region on the basis of Sokil Plant (in the meantime, the matter concerned making a test equipment for tea processing).
Plans were also presented regarding supplies of foodstuffs (tea, concentrated juices, wine production) from Georgia and grain production from Kherson region.
By results of talks, agreements were reached on cooperation of the Georgian party with Genichesk and Bilozersky districts of Kherson region and agreements were signed on cooperation between leaders of Guriya region and the Kherson Regional State Administration.
Hontar also invited guests to participate in the International Investment Forum that will be held in Kherson region in September.
