Within the frames of Davos World Economic Forum, Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili met Assistant Secretary of State, Victoria Nuland, said GHN.
Victoria Nuland personally congratulated Giorgi Kvirikashvili on appointment to the Prime Minister's post and wished all the success in his future endeavors. Throughout the meeting important issues of the US-Georgian bilateral cooperation were discussed. The discussions also included domestic and regional political processes. Democratic reforms conducted in Georgia were emphasized. Victoria Nuland expressed her full support to Georgia in that regard.
Cooperation and support during the process of European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Georgia was also discussed. The discussions also touched upon the Prime Minister's possible visit to the United States. Parties also agreed upon exchanging visits. Issues including prospects of deepening economic relations and arranging plenary session within the frames of U.S.-Georgia Strategic Charter were also discussed.
