The Ministry of Defence of Georgia fulfilled the wish of Nana Tughushi who is under care of "Monk Andrew Foundation". During one day, 17-year-old girl was in the role of the Minister of Defence. The Defence Minister Tinatin Khidasheli and officials of the Ministry introduced her specifics of the organization. She also participated in the planning of the particular event, said MOD.
Deputy Chief of General Staff, Colonel Nikoloz Agladze introduced "the Little Minister" with the working process of the General Staff of the Georgian Armed Forces. Besides Defence Minister, Deputy Defence Ministers Davit Ebralidze, Ana Dolidze and Besik Loladze talked to her about policy planning and management of the Ministry. Current Operations Center held special presentation for the girl.
At the end of the day, Defence Minister and Nana Tughushi visited "Monk Andrew Foundation". Tinatin Khidasheli talked to the children and listened their wishes. Children received gifts and promise from the Defence Minister to host them at the military base.
"Such events are very important when you motivate people and give them opportunity to fulfill their wishes. I do not know if it is a big or small dream, but, we should do our best to offer kids more positive days when there is such desire. I would like to thank kids for the interest about the Ministry of Defence. It means that you love your country and want to be integrated in this process. Thanks to Naniko who wished to be a chief of such a responsible organization. We will host these kids at the military unit and we will try to give them many nice days," - Defence Minister said.
"Monk Andrew Foundation" helps youngsters with the cancer under the age of 18. They also support children's families without any profit and offer them various events for their treatment, rehabilitation and for the improvement of quality of their life.
