The Jean de Vienne, a F70 type anti-submarine frigate of the French Marine Nationale is in Batumi port since yesterday. Within the friendly visit, Georgian and French sailors performed joint marine trainings in Batumi today.
Ambassador of France Eric Fournier was attending the exercises in Batumi today. Ambassador emphasized the significance of the French Frigate to Georgia briefly after the visit of Georgian president to Paris. He also said the upcoming visit of the French Foreign Minister would confirm that relations between the two countries were very intensive.
