"This is a joint program of former US Secretary of Defence, Donald Rumsfeld's Foundation and Central Asia and Caucasus Institute of John Hopkins University. During the period of two months, I will be meeting with US political and business leadership, representatives of various international organizations and leading experts, opinion makers who influence US policy making"- told Sulkhan Glonti to GHN.
Within the margins of the program , Mr Ghlonti also attended Nuclear Summit.
"I had an opportunity to participate in Nuclear Summit and take part in number of very important meetings. Such events give you a unique chance to obtain first hand information on key issues effecting today's world. My primary interest during this program is Georgia's security aspects in the context of upcoming visa liberalization with EU. As you well know, Free Democrats have done substuntional work on this issue and have been actively advocating it on every given occasion. I plan to use this opportunity and advance my parties campaign program while meeting leading world leading experts, so that Georgian voters are presented with effective and realistic plan how we Free Democrats plan to further advance Georgia", - said Sulkhan Glonti.
