The President sent amendments to the law on the Constitutional Court to the Venice Commission, - National Security Council Secretary Irina Imerlishvili declared. She noticed that the bill was sent this morning.
"Yesterday evening, at 19:00 we received the bill. The President sent it to the Commission this morning. We hope that the Venice Commission will prepare a report regarding the law as soon as possible", - said Imerlishvili.
As to whether the President will veto the bill, according to Imerlishvili, the decision has not been made yet.
On its turn, the Parliament also stated that the amendments to the law on the Constitutional Court were sent to the Venice Commission yesterday.
