"We are interested in the Court's attitude. If the imprisonment is envisaged for the harassment of majority member's jacket, the question arises: is it punishable under the law to beat opposition party leaders too. Is it punishable of not?" - Levan Berdzenishvili declared touching the recent Kortscheli incident.
"What more valuable is, Lortkipanidze's jacket or the health of Nika Melia? And finally are Georgian people deserving a dignity or not?" - Parliament member told.
He believes that those people who were participated in the Kortskheli incident are not clearly deserving a honor. He tells they are not an athletes and are not clearly followers of a sport. One should first have a dignity and after be sportsmen. To be a sportsmen mean to have a dignified personality, this is a very honorable activity. A sportsmen who is involved in a fistfight and uses his muscles against any one, no matter is he a fun of any political party or not, does not deserves any other estimation but a villain. I am in expectation of Court's decision, "- Levan Berdzenishvili told.
