The Committee of the Justice Strategy and Action Plan holds its first working meeting that takes place at the hotel Marriot.
Levan Murusidze, Secretary of Supreme Council of Justice talks at this meeting about his future meeting with Bidzina Ivanishvili, former Prime Minister of Georgia. He underlines that Judges are not accountable before anyone.
"I talked with Ivanishvili and shared with him my visions on Judges' salaries; independence of a Court; problematic questions in a judicial system. Never before the Court was as independent as it is now. We all came to one conclusion: the previous government has many flaws in this respect. Nowadays the Court much more independent is than it was before, "- Levan Murusidze tells.
Bidzina Ivanishvili on his part advised Levan Murusidze to free-up from the pressure of the UNM., he declared this in his on yesterday's TV interview.
