Levan Musrusidze, Chairman of the Council of Justice tells the question of Judge Natia Gujabidze was discussed already. No sanction was imposed yet on this matter. Nevertheless, no information was provided whose plea was a basis for considering a disciplinary question for the Judge. At the same time he underlined that complaints like this are occurring very often. As, the matter of disciplinary sanctions for Judges are confidential, Murusidze, declined to reply other questions.
On this point, Nika Gvaramia, Director General of broadcaster Rustavi2 tells Natia Gujabidze J. is persecuted by authorities, namely by the Georgia's Procurator's Office General. Gvaramia tells that court hearing against Gujabidze biased is, as the Judge in this court hearing is "red handed" too, in misappropriation of public money.
For information, the disciplinary board reviewed an issue of public spending two years ago and concluded that there was no misconduct. Reportedly the Justice members had information that Natia Gujabidze was renting an apartment for her mother for years and the state was paying for that.
According to the documents, in 2015 Natia Gujabidze refused to rent a flat.
