The delegation of Georgian lawmakers returned from Oslo, where they attended the session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly. The MPs from Georgia introduced the government`s new strategy document to the European lawmakers regarding the occupied territories.

The session adopted a new resolution on Georgia. Majority of the MPs supported the resolution, which emphasizes the necessity of worthy and free repatriation of IDPs from Georgia`s occupied Abkhazia and Tskhinvali Region to their homes. The document includes term ethnic cleansing and war.

Despite the protest of the Russian delegation, all other members of the assembly voted for the document. At the same session, Georgian vice speaker, Gigi Tsereteli was elected the vice president of the European People`s Party Faction in the OSCE.
