Officially, from June 8 in Georgia the pre-elections period started. A range of regulations under the Georgian legislation now are in force. Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Prime Minster tells about this commenting the journalists' theme.
Prime Minster believes this denotes that now, the pre elections standards are much higher.
"For that reason, exploiting of the administrative recourses will be restricted for the pre-elections period. This denotes a step forward in terms of democratic development. I believe that consultations that we had with President and Parliament gave us its first fruits, "- Prime Minister said.
The issue of countersigning of the decrees was discussed by the government on June 6. The government approved President's decrees.
