Giorgi Margvelashvili, President of Georgia met today with Donald Tusk, European Council President. The parties talked about Georgia-EU integration process, the special attention was paid to the question of lifting the visa requirements for citizens of Georgia. The hope was expressed that the above mentioned process will be accomplished successfully very soon.
Parties talked as well about the security and stability questions in the world. The important role of Georgia in security questions was underlined once more. Georgia's participation in peacekeeping operations was highly praised.
Forthcoming elections process in Georgia was discussed also. The parties underlined an importance of the transparent and fair elections in Georgia.
