MIkheil Machavariani, one of the leaders of the UNM responded to Bidzina Ivanishvili, ex-Prime Minister's interview with national broadcasters. He tells that unfortunately the promised "fourth best year, delayed for undefined period."
He tells that Georgian tycoon's phrases have no connection with a reality. As he tells, in Georgia everything is all right, that we have one of the most efficient governments in the world; that at the time of UNM the country accommodated too many debts, but now we have an economics based on investments. Machavariani tells Ivanishvili's allays are manipulating with figures when talking about debts, they are calculating with imaginary system.
"Bidzina Ivanishvili is boosting with the economic growth for the last three years, in fact the economic growth for the last 3 years increased only with 3.3%. This denotes that Georgia for the nearest 50 years will not be able to lift its economy up to EU countries level."
"Ivanishvili also assures that for 2030 Georgia will reach EU countries standards, this is a false too. For the last 3 years (when inflation reach 3%) the GDP per capita in 2030 will be USD 9400. And this figure is less than in Turkmen Republic, Grenada and Azerbaijan for today. To reach the EU countries standards Georgia needs to gain two-figure economic growth, but this impossible is under the Ivanishvili's ruling. They are calculating a debt according to the Ivanishvili's imaginary system and are manipulating with the figures, " - Machavariani tells.
