Giorgi Kvirikashvili , Prime Minister tells that Much more Russian investments were carried out in Georgia under the previous government. He tells this in response to Giorgi Kandelaki, UNM member's question at the International Forum.
Giorgi Kandelaki asked the Prime Minister to make additional explanations on the Gazprom issue, and a decline in energy investments and general investments too.
Kvirikashvili named conflicts in the region as one of the causes of the decrease in investments, but noted that a number of international organizations still carry out large investments. The Prime Minister named the British Petroleum as an example.
As for the Gazprom, Giorgi Kvirikashvili noted that only technical negotiations were underway with Russia, but in the end the government signed a better contract with the Azerbaijani SOCAR company.
