"The shapes of NATO new strategy were shown yet at the NATO Wales Summit 2014, and the priorities for restricting the Russian aggression will be a main question."

"From this summit up to today two important steps forward were made. One of them - guaranties was given to the member states in connection with the Article 5 of the NATO treaty. And second important step was - the development of defense abilities of the partner countries, "- Davit Sikharulidze tells.

Sikharulidze tells that the shapes of the NATO Wales Summit will be sharper at the Warsaw summit.

"What am I expecting from the Warsaw Summit, is the strategy for restraining Russia will be more visible. Accordingly steps for the development of Georgia's defense ability will be made, " - Sikharulidze tells.

"At NATO Warsaw Summit's agenda now is to make a very serious steps in connection with the stability and security in Europe and particularly at the Black Sea region. Most likely this will affect the strengthening of Georgia's defense abilities and perspectives of the membership to NATO."

For information, The Article 5 of the NATO treaty affects questions of collective defense. That means that an attack against one Ally is considered as an attack against all Allies.
