Dimitri Kumsishvili, Economic and Sustainable Development Minister commented the amendments that were made to the Law on Diplomatic Service today at the Cabinet sitting.
Dimitri Kumsishvili states that new institution was established in a Georgian diplomatic representation - the Commercial Attache. The Attaché will be appointed in deliberation with Foreign Minister.
"The Commercial Attaché may cover not only one but many countries, his main duty will be - promotion of the export, promotion of the investments inflow and defense of our business at that particular foreign country, " - Kumsishvili declared.
