The members of the monitoring committee of the Council of Europe`s Parliamentary Assembly, Michael Jensen and Castriot Islam have been holding meetings since their arrival to Georgia today. The rapporteurs arrived in Tbilisi on a four-day visit together with a new rapporteur on Monday.
The first meeting was held at the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Justice Ministry. The guests also viewed the Service Agency of the Ministry of Interior in the city of Rustavi.
Later today, the rapporteurs will be hosted by foreign minister Grigol Vashadze at the Ministry ofForeign Affairs.
On the first day of the visit, they will also host diplomats and the representatives of international missions in Georgia.
At the moment, the rapporteurs are holding meeting with the human rights NGOs at the hotel Ambassador.
