Georgian Defense Minister's official visit to Brussels was successfully accomplished with a meeting with Alexander Vershbow. According to the official information of the Defense Ministry at the meeting of NATO headquarters, the parties discussed expectations and future plans concerning the forthcoming NATO Warsaw summit.
"We talked about the Warshaw summit at the meeting with the Deputy Secretary General. The main theme was a communiqué that will be passed as a result of this meeting. We discussed a questions were we are expecting the progress will be achieved. Many interesting novelties will be, a range of new themes, new initiatives, which will be serving to the increasing of the defense ability of Georgia. Clearly, our country after the summit will be much stronger in terms of defense abilities and we will have more opportunities in expecting bilateral projects.
