Maya Melikidze, Advisor to the President of Georgia on Economic Affairs met with representatives of European Investment Bank.
At the meeting parties discussed support for small and medium business. Economic Adviser informed the delegation of the EIB on issues of small and medium business. She noted this segment of the Georgian business has complications with the access to finances for development of own business.
Maya MIkeladze stated that this year in October the EIB will support Georgia financially for small and medium business credits in commercial banks. She as well noted that the EIB plans to cooperate with the Bank Republic, TBC Bank, Procredit Bank, and Bank of Georgia.
The EIB plans to conduct a monitoring of the small and medium businesses in Georgia.
