On June 17 in Italy the Culture Institute named after Dimitri Gulua was opened. The secessionist government's Foreign Ministry informs that in Rome the opening of the institute attended Viacheslav Chirikba, ad-hoc Abkhazian Foreign Minister, Kan Tania, his deputy Foreign Minister, Jemile Diundari, official representative of Abkhazian Republic in France and other officials.

The secessionists' Foreign Ministry informs that a main goal for opening this institute a popularizing of the Abkhazian Culture in Italy is. After the opening ceremony Abkhazian Foreign Minister hold a press conference and as well the inauguration of the Association's office "Europe-Abkhazia" was held.

"The Association was founded in 2015 of September 16 and a first organization is that was registered in Europe with use of the Abkhazian passport, " - the secessionists Foreign body informs. Also they inform that the weekly edition of newspaper "Abkhazia Today" is published in four languages - Abkhazian, Russian, Italian and English.

The ceremony attended representatives of Russian Federation and Venezuela accredited in Italy, other prominent people.

In connection with this event the Georgian Foreign Ministry did not make comments as yet.
