The Georgian Intelligence Service, the Agency of Anticorruption detained an employee of the Georgian Refugees Ministry Tekla Kh.
The investigation states that Telka Kh was extorting a bribe in big amount - USD 7 000 from the IDP from Abkhazia in turn for helping to obtain a flat in the capital from the Refugees Ministry of Georgia.
The investigation is pending on the fact of bribery in a big amount (under the Article 338 part II of the Georgian Criminal Code (GCC) that envisages an imprisonment from 7 to 11 years). The investigation conducts the State Security Service of Georgia.
