Constitutional Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has arrested members of an organized crime gang.
The deputy head of the department, Soso Topuridze reported the details of the special operation at the briefing today.
The detainees are Aleksandre Muchiauri, Malkhaz Tsereteli and Kakhaber Buchukuri, who forced an entrepreneur to give up his shares in a market in the Isani district of Tbilisi via intimidations.
The CSD carries out the investigation. The detainees may face eight years in prison if recognized guilty.
