Otar Kakhidze, member of the UNM tells, the burden of responsibility for the release of Akhmed Chataev, Chechen militant leader, lays fully on Chief Prosecutor being back then Thea Tsulukiani, now Justice Minister.
"Georgian Justice Minister tells the Georgian Dream (GD-DG) made a mistake when released the suspect in terrorist attacks Akhmed Chataev. I would like to remind the fact: on May 30 of 2013 Thea Tsulukiani was a head of the Georgian Public Prosecutor's Office. And accordingly she had a chance to abolish those decisions of previous head, which she disagree with. She could to change this decision on his release. The release was based (as if) on the absence of the proofs and in mediation of the Georgian Public Prosecutor's Office. As a result the criminal case was closed. The full responsibility for this fact lays on the being back then first person of the Prosecutor's Office Thea Tsulukiani, " - Kakhidze tells.
