Sudden windstorm and hail have damaged two villages of the Kakheti Region. Maghraani and Argokhi villages of the Akhmeta district have been seriously damaged in comparison with other villages.
Fourteen houses have been unroofed; others have their walls damaged as well as the things inside the houses.
The storm has uprooted trees, tore down electrical wires, leaving the region disconnected from the system.
The hail destructed maize fields, orchards and vineyards. The windstorm lasted half an hour.
Akhmeta municipal government has already formed a special commission, which is in charge to count the damage and allocate compensation to the damaged families.
