Austrian Christine Muttonen (from Socialist Party) was elected President of the Organization for Security and Co-operation Parliamentary Assembly (OSCE PA) at the assembly's 25-th annual meeting in Tbilisi, Georgia on Tuesday. She got 86 votes against 73 votes for Gigi Tsereteli (from EPP).
Davit Ususpashvili, Georgian Parliamentary Chair also voted for Austrian representative Christine.
Aside from Muttonen, candidates for the presidential post included France's Alain Neri and Georgia's Gigi Tsereteli.
