The elections on October 8 one more litmus paper test will be for Georgia in its ability to conduct fair free and democratic elections. The fair elections one more step forward will be for better stability of Georgia and economic growth for the Georgian population. John Kerry tells about this at the press conference that was held together with Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Prime Minister at the building of Administration of Georgia's government.
Kerry tells that Georgia is a model country in conducting a democratic reforms, and changing the elections environment.
"This theme was discussed with Prime Minster, later we will discuss with President. We will discuss tomorrow the problems of democracy and independence also with opposition parties. The October 8 will be one more litmus test for Georgia, "- Kerry tells.
"We stressed the theme of elections environment that is to be free from the pressure and fear, we have to keep a progress that has been achieved in respect of free media, "- he stressed. He tells that USA feels it is obliged to help Georgia in its progress.
"The memorandum on bilateral cooperation in security area was signed today with Prime Minister. This is a next step in partnership in security questions, for increasing the Georgia's stability and defense ability. "
