According to the declaration of the State Minister in Reconciliation and Civil Equality he has not the information, if the opposition and US State Secretary discussed the problems of broadcaster Rustavi2. Paata Zakareiashvili tells that the Rustavi 2 is not a danger and it should "calm down".
"I would say that all international organizations are asking on this matter and all agree unanimously that this is a matter of a Court to decide. They are getting an information from different sourness as if there is some problems with this broadcaster, but when I am explaining them the situation, everything becomes clear and I am sure that the Rustavi 2 case will not affect elections at all.
Contrary all will guess that the government is watching the case in a civilized manner, with dignity. Rustavi 2 was at arena in 2012 when UNM loose elections, when after UNM loose Presidential elections, loose local self governing elections. And I would tell the Rustavi 2 is not now any danger for anybody. So, Rustavi 2 has to calm down. The elections will be passed peacefully, the case of the broadcaster will be decided peacefully and everything will be all right."
