According to the information for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs the USA Senate passed a resolution for further support of Georgia from NATO at the Warsaw summit.
The resolution underlines the importance of the Substantial NATO-Georgia Package (SNGP) for defense capabilities of the country. The NATO-Georgian Joint Training and Evaluation Centre's (JTEC) role for deepening of cooperation between Georgia and NATO was stressed.
The resolution reads also that to the Russia-controlled territories - South Ossetia and Abkhazia the Crimea was added too as a result of Russian invasion to Ukraine. The resolution calls the NATO members at Warsaw summit for unity and solidarity for strengthening of security and safety in this question.
The resolution clearly shows the Senate's support for Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
