Commenting the report of the NGO Transparency International Georgia, Eka Beselia, Chair of the Human Rights Protection and Civic Integration Committee tells, the Parliament that works in two different places makes many troubles.
She tells this is not easy when Parliament is moving from one place to another each second week. "This makes many problems. However very often the minority is not attending the sittings, having no excuse for this. This happens also at out Committee's sittings. Some MPs are not attending the Committee sitting in Tbilisi at all, or are attending only those sitting at which the questions interesting for them are discussed, " - Beselia tells.
NGO Transparency International Georgia in its annual estimation of the Georgian Parliament indicated that, 2199 sittings omitted by MPs having excuse for this, and 1442 unjustifiably .
