The Chief Prosecutor's Office informs that Edisher Kobakhidze, former head of the Special Forces unit and Davit Karseladze, former deputy head of the Revenue Service of Finance Ministry are wiling to cooperate with the investigation and are giving evidences against being back then Chief Prosecutor Zurab Adeishvili (who is not detained too).
The criminal case of beating of the Parliamentarian that happen on November 7 of 2007 at the protest meeting was investigated, the Prosecutor's Office informs. As a result of the investigation lawenforcers detected that the Special Forces delivered Koba Davitashvili to the Gori military hospital after his beating, afterwards he was kept in illegal custody.
The plan was organized by being back then Chief Prosecutor - Zurab Adeishvili and Finance Ministry's Revenue Service Head - Davit Karseladze. The penalty for such crime envisages imprisonment from 7 to 10 years under the GCC (Articles 23 and 143).
